I read Joan Walsh and Bob Somerby because they are liberals, and I am a liberal. My reading is constrained to liberals and mainstream news outlets with the exception of Fox News and other right-wing outlets.
Today Bob Somerby points to a Joan Walsh column in which she quotes the recent Christie report on Bridge-gate as calling Bridget Kelly "erratic" and "stupid".
WALSH (March 28, 2014): " If you believe an “emotional” and “stupid” jilted woman caused Bridgegate, I’ve got a bridge to sell you."link
Somerby (March 29, 2014): According to Walsh, the Mastro report was “mind-blowingly mean” when it called Kelly “erratic.” But go ahead—search the text!LinkYou won’t find the word “erratic,” a word Walsh placed inside quotes.
Where did Walsh get the idea that the Mastro report called Kelly “erratic?
Additionally, Walsh quotes a press conference in which Christie calls anyone who may have been involved in Bridgegate (male or female) "stupid" as proof of misogynist.
Are we in presence of a very bad blogger with weak journalistic skills? (Walsh), or is Mr. Somerby wrong that the Christie report called Walsh erratic and that Christie singled out a female as "stupid" in his press conference?
I hereby ask you readers of this diary to help me search for the word "erratic" in the report, as it is very long. Thanks in advance.
